What is Cosmetic Acupuncture?

Historically, Cosmetic Acupuncture dates back thousands of years where it was once used as an exclusive beauty treatment for Chinese Empresses.

This virtually painless treatment involves the insertion of fine needles in the face, scalp and ears as well as the hands and feet. The needles increase muscle tone and promote collagen production in the skin thereby effectively eliminating fine lines and wrinkles while considerably diminishing larger more pervasive wrinkles. The procedure is excellent for bags under the eyes and for those experiencing sagging skin and jowls.

The treatment is administered by Dr. Stacey Shillington ND, and a course of therapy consists of 10–15 treatments administered 1-2 times per week and results typically last 2-5 years when monthly maintenance sessions are employed.
