Microdermabrasion is used to improve skin texture, tone and to help prevent fine lines. Skin gains a healthy glow and a more youthful appearance. After the procedure the patient will get an AFA peel. AFA's are amino acids applied to the skin that act as antioxidants to help with exfoliation and help the skin retain moisture. Aluminum oxide crystals are used to exfoliate and polish the skin.
